Why is it bad?

Making the argument that because something is 'natural' (or the 'vanilla' way) it is therefore valid, justified, or ideal over mods/plugins.

Using third-party Discord clients or plugins is unnatural and wrong. The standard client is the way the developers intended it, so it's the only valid way to chat.
