Slippery Slope

What is it?

Asserting that if we allow A to happen, then Z will eventually happen too, therefore A should not happen.

Why is it bad?

The problem with this reasoning in a server context is that it avoids engaging with the issue at hand (like adding a new emote), and instead shifts attention to extreme hypotheticals (like the server devolving into anarchy).
