Saying that if we do one small thing, a giant terrible thing will definitely happen later.
Why it's wrong
It's like saying if you drop one crumb, a million ants will come and carry your house away. It's making a big leap from a tiny step to a crazy disaster.
Example
If I let you borrow my pencil, you'll lose it, then I won't be able to do my homework, and then I'll fail school!
