The Fallacy

Thinking that because someone explained something badly, their whole idea must be wrong.

Why it's wrong

Sometimes people are right about something, but they do a bad job explaining why. Just because their explanation is silly doesn't mean the thing they are talking about is wrong.

Example

My friend said we should eat vegetables because aliens said so. Aliens aren't real, but we should still eat vegetables because they are healthy.
