The Fallacy
A conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement.
Why it's wrong
When the conclusion drawn has no connection to the premises it is supposed to follow from. It represents a disconnect in logic where the evidence provided, even if true, is irrelevant to the claim being made.
Example
People like to walk on the beach. Beaches have sand. Therefore, having sand floors in homes would be a great idea!
