Shotgun Argumentation
The Definition
Firing so many allegations at a political opponent that they cannot possibly answer or debunk them all.
The Explanation
In modern political media, quickly rattling off dozens of half-truths creates the illusion of a strong argument because the opponent doesn't have time to fact-check every single claim.
Political Example
During the two-minute debate segment, the challenger accused the Mayor of corruption, raising taxes, hating dogs, jaywalking, and faking the moon landing. The Mayor couldn't rebut them all before time expired.
